What a variety and level of quality at this edition of the Buren Art Market. I participated as an exhibitor myself, showcasing a selection of my pastel drawings. People frequently browsed through my portfolio, and I was asked several times what materials I had used; some visitors even left written comments. During a quick tour of the other stalls, I exchanged ideas with a few remarkable artists: - Kladdergast, with his colorful and imaginative abstract works that nonetheless carry a distinct underlying intent. - Szilvia Barsi (of Hungarian origin), featuring beautiful (portrait) drawings created with compressed charcoal. - Marian Franken, a versatile artist creating portraits using ballpoint pen and airbrush, alongside a hand-drawn banner. - Portrait painter Paul te Braak, sitting unobtrusively within a picture frame himself. - Reinier van der Seijs, displaying stunning nature photographs capturing unique moments of action
